Exhaustion
How many of you are exhausted by life?
How often do you say “I am tired” or “I am exhausted?”
What is exhausting you?
The first obvious answer is that you are not sleeping properly. This can be true, but what are the causes? Are you not allowing your minds to go blank as you enter into rest? Do you take all the worries, problems and controls to bed with you and attempt to solve them while you have “spare” time lying in bed? Do you spend your days in worry, confusion and over-programming; rushing from thing to thing and attempting to live four days in one? Do you believe that if you physically exhaust yourself you will be able to sleep?
Next, are you eating correctly? Do you eat balance small meals throughout the day or do you eat three large meals along with snacks or do you eat next to nothing in the hopes of remaining slender? None of these works unless the foods you are using are whole, balance and nutritious. Do you drink a lot of caffeine to keep you going during the day? Do you drink a lot of sugar? What is your water intake, does it exceed the other beverages? Your body is like any machine, it needs appropriate fuel. You need to pay attention to what your body tries to tell you and if it is constantly exhausted it is not receiving the proper nutrition to run. Take a few moments to write down what you eat. Be honest because only you need to know what you are currently using for fuel. Then think about how you can subtly change this diet. What can you remove and what can you substitute that will allow you to have more consistent and balance nutritional energy?
Finally, do you exercise your body other than through daily living? Or do you run your body ragged with worry, activities and control and then go to a gymnasium and exercise as ferociously as you can? Do you run miles and miles or bike that distance? Do you punish your body that is not properly nourished or rested with too much exercise? There seems to be an issue with balance for most of you - too much and too little of things so that your psyche is in a state of confusion about excess and lack.
Balance is the key. If you are experiencing especially stressful times, moderate your life. Begin to eat smaller “meals” but more of them so that the release into your system is more measured. Try to do fewer activities with a bit less intensity but with more grace and ease, this will allow you to flow through your life rather than march or ploddingly drag yourself forward. All things in moderation are good, but also we remind you to find the time to sit quietly with yourself and contemplate spirit, contemplate Self and give yourself the gift of finding bliss.
We leave in love.
