Destruction

How often do you hear, know, sense the best thing for yourself and then do something to sabotage that action?  Let us look at the human condition of this behavior. You know that exercising would be good for you. You might begin to exercise, but soon you find reasons that you do not have the time or the energy or the inclination. You justify this with many “good reasons” but the real reason is that somehow you do not want to feel better or healthier or more fit. The same with food, alcohol, drugs, relationships and anger or unrest in your soul.

Take a moment or two to think about a behaviour of yours that results in making you feel not good. Do you have that action in mind? Now, honestly analyze why you continue this behaviour when you know that it is not in your best and highest good. What is the fear of feeling good? What is the fear of being free? What is the fear of having what you want?  Why do you destruct your good feelings or your good health or whatever it is that you are destructing for yourself?

One answer is that you have feelings of not being worth the effort it seems to take to be on the path of health, welfare and joy. You are use to the path as you live it now and that makes you complacent and comfortable. Another is that the path to the positive often seems difficult because you must “give up” traditional habits and beliefs. Is this true? Are you giving them up and turning to a life of nothing or are you simply giving up behaviours that no longer serve your best and highest purpose to put in place behaviours that do?  If you can stop seeing enlightenment, health, joy, and abundance as scarcity you will be amazed at what awaits you. Yes, we said you view all those wonderful things as scarcity. You value more the destructive behaviours than you do the life affirming ones. This is not a judgment or condemnation of you, but rather just an awareness of the ease with which you go with familiarity rather than ecstasy and freedom.

We know this sounds simplistic and overly easy, but we assure you that the rewards are as we promise and the relief is multitudinal.

We leave in hope and love.
