Chaos
The past month has been filled with a lot of challenges. One might say chaos. The world is spinning rather wildly right now and my personal space seems to be matching that vibe. So this week, I offer a meditation from Babaji from my book, “Going in to Find Out. “
Chaos
In times of change and upheaval, it often feels as though things are too chaotic and too overwhelming to focus on that one thing you need for focus. This is an illusion as it is caused by the noise not by the silence of truly listening. What do you desire? Where do you want to go with your life? How can you best serve your mission here whilst living amongst others? Those are your questions and they haunt you as you try to “figure out” what you are to be doing.
Rest and be at peace. Does it feel right? Does it feel that it is the correct choice for you to be making at this time? If the answer is yes, then continue down that path and see where it takes you. The secret about paths is that you can always get off of them or turn around or exit when an exit presents itself. Sometimes an exit presents itself simply by saying, “I am complete with this” and moving on to the next aspect of life. There does not have to be a finite beginning and end. There does not have to be a “reason” to end something other than you believe or feel or sense that the time for this has ended.
Life is about opportunity. Many are presented so that you may taste the full array of God’s sumptuous feast of life. Life is an a la carte menu that is waiting to be sampled, but most of you want only to taste of the familiar or the bland or the safe. You do not want to risk those things that are strange or unfamiliar or might require more of you than you “feel” like providing. Move on with life. Taste from all sources and find that which is best for you. If you were burned at one point during your movable feast of life, will it happen again? Do you not trust others? We say you do not trust your Self to be discerning enough to know that this is not the thing for you. Most humans tend to repeat the behaviours that they have not enjoyed because in so doing it is safer than trying something new or believing that the new things might offer a different view of life. Get out of your comfort zone and fly. That is our advice to you.
We leave in excitement and love.
