Waiting and Watching
I am in a space of re-creation at the moment. It is enjoyable and thought-provoking and yet has left me feeling adrift or a bit at sea. All of the “old” behaviors are either gone or seem off kilter and the “new” way of being has not kicked in to normal. I am along for the ride, but I have never been given to patience so I often find myself pushing against this feeling of nothingness while I know intuitively that “somethingness” is just around the bend. May this meditation from “Going In to Find Out” help you as well.
PATIENCE
It will come.
What does that statement feel like to you? Do you believe it? Do you question what “it” is? Just sit with the statement for a moment, “It will Come.” Put the emphasis on each part differently.
IT will come.
It WILL come.
It will COME.
Each emphasis changes the meaning or impact slightly. Which one is best for you or closest to your desire?
Most of you sit and wait, some not so patiently, for IT to come your way. What is IT? What are you waiting for, longing for, wishing for, desiring? Do you even know or do you have a list so long that you cannot possibly fulfill it? We believe that most of you do not have a list or even truly know what IT is. Life is an adventure filled with events, people, places and occurrences. Some of them are wonderful and make your heart sing and others are scary and or upsetting or even fear creating. It is your attachment to them that causes the emotions to override the experience. Most things that are awful or scary only happen once or twice in life, yet you dwell on them and relive them in your minds over and over. Others of you may have experienced long periods of sadness, abuse, neglect or physical hardship, for this you have scars that are deep and raw, yet these too can be healed when you begin to walk away from that situation and into the life you were truly meant to live. One in which you love your Self enough to live fully in joy and light.
So what are you waiting for? Allow your Self the gift of sitting with this for a bit and truly thinking of what you desire. Patience is the best state of being because if you can think of what you want and then wait for life to bring it to you in some way, there is greater ease. If you desire or dream and then fuss and fret and despair over its not appearing, the wait will seem a lot longer and the reward less satisfying. So dream big today, enjoy the dream and then set it free to become reality. While you wait for the reality, get on with living and enjoying each moment that leads you down the path to your dreams.
We leave in great hope and love.
