Pity

Do you want pity?

Do you feel that you deserve to be pitied?

Do you pity others?

 What is pity?

It is a form of victimhood that keeps you and others small. People seek pity because they do not stand fully in their own light and request that which they need and deserve. Pity is a cop out from accepting responsibility for your actions or situation.

Often people will make themselves into carpets upon which others tread and then when this happens they become resentful. Most of you put your Selves where you are and then you wish you were not there. So get out. Take responsibility for your life, actions and the consequences thereof. It is very easy to want to abdicate your participation in matters that are not pleasant or easy. If you are in debt, is it of your own doing? Then stop whining about it and get out of debt. You may have to do without “things” that are really not necessary or change for awhile the way in which you use money, but ultimately you will be debt free. If you are overweight, stop the behaviour that is causing it. Change how you eat. Change how you move and exercise your body or simply change your relationship with food.

So much of life is changing your relationship with the problem. First, if you think it is a problem, it is – so start there. Next focus on what you want, not on what you don’t want or don’t have. You are calling into being that which you focus upon.  We have shared all this before, but it is time for you to rise up and take command of life rather than be at the effect of the consequences. Wake up and march into life boldly and deal with the details as they occur rather than waiting until the details become so large that they seem insurmountable. This too is a perception, but it is easier to start when things are small and eradicate them rather than having to eat the elephant one bite at a time. We mix our metaphors, but what we are saying is that the time is now to take a hold of life and control the ways in which you create your own chaos.

We leave with love.
