It All Lines Up

It has been a week of synchronicity. Lots of events happening and lining up perfectly, bringing results that had not been imagined.

Looking at life unfolding in front of you is always fun, but as you begin to see the puzzle pieces come together, it makes you aware of the miracles occurring all around. They are not BIG miracles, nothing of biblical proportions, but rather day-to-day occurrences that suddenly synch up into something wonderful.

For me the past week has been a bit more magical as these moments have happened in close proximity to each other. Seemingly random conversations that have led into opportunity or puzzling thoughts that have been quickly explained.

It does not happen often or perhaps it happens more often than we think. How aware of the chain of events are we in our daily lives? Are we paying attention to our actions or are we just getting through the day?

We often have blinders on as we move through the activities of life. Get the task complete, run the errands, make the phone calls are our usual routines. We are so focused on the “To Do” list that we do not leave room to see the fruits of our labors. Also, most of us are focused on what is not working rather than what is.

The two events of my past week had little to do with me. The first one was more like being a player in the back of the volleyball court, setting up the ball for someone else to hit over the net. They would get the points, but I got the satisfaction of knowing that by keeping my eye on the ball, I was able to help in the outcome. It all occurred within a 20-minute period and the chances of it all working out were slim to none. The second one was more of a puzzle for me as I was having random thoughts about traveling to a city I had not planned on visiting and researching how to get there with no idea why. About 5 minutes after I abandoned my “research” the phone rang, and it was the person who lived in that location. They had been wrestling with some issues and had thought of me. Evidently with great determination.

The more I look for connection, the more obvious it becomes.  May synchronicity come your way and may you allow yourself to notice.  It is SOOOOO fun!!
