Work
Are you willing to do the work?
Many of you are dedicated or hard workers. You toil endlessly with the daily tasks of life. You are dedicated to your jobs, your families and the mundane tasks of living such as cleaning, chores and activities of living. What work do you do for your Soul?
How much time do you give each day or even each week to the betterment or care of your Soul? Do you meditate daily? Can you find the five minutes per day that we recommend as your starting point? Can you find fifteen minutes each day to move your life’s journey further down the path to enlightenment or are you too busy doing all the other work? Is a clean house worth more than your Soul? Is the television program you are watching better for you than a journey to the center of your being? Many of you want to just “relax” when you get home because your day has been so stressful. How do you relax? Do you drink or try to numb out in some way? Do you eat? Do you sit in front of the television or the computer and just travel outside of your Self?
Here is a secret – Listen closely – the journey into your Self is far more rewarding and relaxing than anything that you can find outside of your Self. The journey to the center of you is exquisite and magical and enlightening and fun-filled and explosive. A few minutes sitting in the void is worth all the other things that you might consider doing to “relax.” It is a journey to the reclamation of your being. It is the connection of body and Soul. It is Self realization, but are you willing to do the work? It is not always easy to begin the journey to meditation and silence. You are programmed to be noisy. Your society is noisy. The messages are all about going outside of your Self to find joy. If you are thinner, have no wrinkles, have a fabulous job, lots of money, lots of things then you will have “Nirvana.” Surprise, Nirvana is within, not “with out.” Take an assessment of all the mindless things that you spend your time on. The worries about how you look, your bills, how you are perceived in the world. How do you perceive your Self? Are you only reflected in other people’s vision of you? Do you need external validation to make you worthwhile?
Travel in and find the validation you desire. Travel in and find the peace you crave. Travel in and find your Self.
We leave quietly and in love.
